Armstrong PeakForm Exposed Grid β Material Take-off
Based on Armstrong PeakForm data: main bars (3600mm) at 1200mm centres, cross runners 1200mm at 600mm spacing, suspension points at 1200mm max centres along main bars, wall angle (3600mm) fixed at 450mm centres. Deflection limit 1/360 to AS/NZS 2785:2020. Light fittings, A/C fixtures etc. supported by the grid may need extra hangers; external areas or openings prone to wind uplift need down bracing. Check fixture weight limits and seismic design with Armstrong/TBS for the specific job.
Check spans before ordering. Hanger and framing spacings must comply with the Blueprint span tables for your board weight, wind region and building importance level (Blueprint Tables 3β18, pp.567β589). Tape & compound quantities are industry rules of thumb based on the ceiling face area (only the face layer is jointed). Steel Stud Partition Wall β Material Take-off
Check the wall height tables before ordering β maximum height depends on stud size, gauge (BMT), spacing, lining and wind pressure (Blueprint Tables 2β13, pp.114β124; heights reduce for tiled walls). Each doorway adds 2 boxed jamb studs and a sill/head track allowance; opening framing for large or heavy doors needs structural design (Β§3.2).
